Extend your on-premise network into the cloud with a dedicated private cloud solution. A dedicated private firewall instance is provided as standard allowing for always on direct connectivity between the on-premise network and the cloud.

Our experts will work with you to design and build a bespoke hybrid cloud solution ready for your business needs, leaving you with a fully managed service or a basic hosted option managed your way.

What we need

We’re more than happy to walk you through every step of the process – after all, you’ve come to us because we’re the IT experts! However, it’s always handy if you can collate a few key pieces of information before our discovery session.

  • How many users do you have?
  • How many site premises is your business spread across?
  • What type of internet service do you have at each of your business premises?
  • What applications do you have, and how critical are they to your business?
  • Do you currently use any other form of cloud networking, such as Microsoft 365, Google Cloud or Amazon Web Services?
  • Are you planning to rebuild and replace your current environment or just improve and migrate some of your existing systems?
  • Do you currently back up your existing data to the cloud or on-premise storage?

How does the planning stage work?
Planning starts with the initial call to discuss the basic requirements, before we undertake a site visit and network audit for a more in-depth understanding of your systems and network usage.

Once we’ve done that, we’ll work up a migration plan – along with a network diagram – for approval. Work is then scheduled and planned for a period that will have minimum impact and disruption on your business.

How quick can the migration work be completed?
Due to the bespoke nature of most cloud system requirements, exact timescales can only be calculated once the size and scope of the migration task has been agreed. A schedule will then be agreed up front before any work commences.
What if there are problems after the migration?

With proper planning we don’t expect there to be any problems, but we understand that things can sometimes go wrong. Don’t worry though – we never sign-off a migration project without a successful full systems acceptance test so you can rest assured we’ll be sticking around until then.

After that, ongoing support and maintenance can be provided through our Complete IT Support or Pre-Paid IT Support services.

Do you have 24/7 support?
We do have engineers working out of hours to cover remote support 24/7. However, calling the out of hours team does require an ‘Out of Hours’ contract.
